Short Essay On Accident I Have Seen

This incident is somewhat 3 years old. I witnessed this when I am returning from my school. It was a normal day pretty like any other day. Even weather was very pleasant. There was not even a hint that something bad was going to happen. We went to the school like every day. We were all happy, exhilarated and motivated. We did our school for 6 hours like every other day. Our school was situated some 10 kms away from the main town. The route to the school from the main town was a part of the national highway. Speedy and huge vehicles were quite common in the road especially huge trucks. And even accidents are somewhat common in these roads. Although I had never seen accidents in that road. After the school hours, we were returning from the school.

Students then used school vans and school busses to travel from their residential places to school. Some students, generally the elder ones, occasionally used their own two wheelers. There were two students back then in our school. They were senior to me. No doubt, they were notorious. They were amongst the backbenchers. They were called to the principal’s cabin almost every day. Everyone in school knew about them. Some were inspired and some feared them. They would generally use their own two-wheeler vehicle to travel to school. Although two wheelers used by students were strictly prohibited by the school. But there always students who enjoy breaking rules. These guys were one of those.

School vans and school busses also had created numerous memories for us. We cannot deny that fact. And like every other day, we are having fun, giggling and laughing around in school van. Suddenly, there was traffic jam. We never really had traffic jams in that road. We hardly experience traffic jams in national highways. This was something suspicious. We were curious to know why the jam had happened. We were all young and excited. So, we went down the van. We were a group of five girls, and we headed to the place from where the jam started.  I wish I never got down from that van that day. As we were heading to the place, we had sensed that something was wrong.

The look at everyone’s face was visibly sad and shocked. When we reached the place, we saw an accident had happened there. There were two bodies lying on the road upside down. One’s skull must have been injured too badly because it was bleeding profusely. The blood almost covered one portion of the road. Shockingly, the bodies were of that those two seniors of our schools. The uniform had already made us scared but when we got to know that they were those guys, we all were speechless. Somewhere we all knew them and we all memories with them.

Our day was kind of incomplete without them. They entertained almost the whole school every day. Moreover, losing them that day was the biggest shock. Yes, we lost them. This was the hardest reality we had to believe. At least, we tried to convince ourselves to believe. They lost their lives within few minutes.

Basically, it was collision. It was a collision with a truck. They were overtaking every vehicle. There vehicle’s speed was high as well. While overtaking one of the vehicles, they did not notice the truck and it was a head-on collision.

Death is inevitable. Still, most of us fail to accept this truth. Almost all of us fear death. Be it our own that or losing someone else to death. This entire experience of the accident made me realise how we are fearing the most unavoidable truth. We all are living to die someday.

We had seen the seniors some hours back. Happy and lively, as they were always. Some of us had even shared a conversation or two in the same day. The amount of shock we all went through was unexplainable. Within couple of minutes, our day turned upside down. Soon, an ambulance came. The hospital staff took the bodies. Many of us skipped the next day’s classes because witnessing the bloody bodies was an awful experience. We realised, no matter, how much our teachers were mad at these two students and no matter how naughty they were, they were undoubtedly an integral part of the school’s aura and environment.

Essay On Accident I Have Seen In English

It took us several days to accept the entire episode or may be weeks. It had affected all of us in a real way. I still feel the pain when I think about their family. They really have left us soon. Very soon. It must have been very tough for the family to accept the fact and move on with it. But life continues to go on. Time passes by and we are left with no option other than acceptance. Acceptance is the only way to move on. Acceptance is the only way to make peace with the unexpected twists and turns of life. And life is always unpredictable. We cannot really plan out anything.

We all got to learn a lot of lessons from this whole experience. First and foremost is the importance of the road and traffic rules. They might still have been with us if they were wearing helmets or maybe they were not over speeding. The second lesson would live every moment of life to the fullest.  That is all.
