In this essay we are going to talk about the Favourite Teacher. Teachers have always played an important in the society and in our lives since ancient time. Teachers are the creators as they mould a child into a good human being who will represent our future and thus creates a nation and the whole world.
Short Essay On Favourite Teacher
A teacher gives shape to a student’s life. A teacher passes his knowledge about life and world and bookish knowledge to a student. They make a child discipline, cultured and teaches them patience. The one who instils an inspiration within us to be a good human being and to learn is a teacher.
During our school and college we come across a lot of teachers, some are our class teacher, some are our subject teacher. Though we respect and love all our teacher still we have one or two favourite teacher, it can our own class teacher be it for any reason.
Everyone’s favourite teacher has certain personality which the kids love and for which the teacher’s become kids favourite. The personality can be anything like the teacher’s manner is pleasing and is liked by everyone, soft spoken and strict in discipline, teaching method is simple and understandable, pronunciations are clear and perfect, have a great knowledge on the subject matter, has a perfect command over English, students can learn new things and new words from the teacher does not give punishment rather tries to make the students understand the topic again, looks at the students as his or her own sons and daughters, uses creativity so that it is easier for a student to understand the subject and topic, shares some experiences related to the subject to make it more interesting, the teacher is polite and humble, arranges for a comfortable and spacious room and tries to help the students as much as possible.
There can be many reasons why a teacher is someone’s favourite teacher. It can be because his or her voice given an excellent experience to the students to have Bengali class, History class, English class or maybe Sociology class. It might feel like to watch a video or be in that place or period where the story is taking place while being in a class and listening to the teacher. Many teachers makes a good use of their personal experience regarding the topic to make the teaching more fun and effective and memorable.
Some history teachers have visited a lot of historical places and tells the story about those places to the students to make the topic less boring and more memorable. And, thus becomes a student’s favourite history teacher. Some teachers become favourite of students because of their way of talking as it is interesting, fun and educative and students gain a lot of knowledge which helps them in their exams and in their future. Some teachers have a good sense of humour and are very sporting in nature and are friendly. There are some teachers with whom students can share their problems and anything and everything.
Teachers also have a lot of qualities which leads them to become students favourite teacher. A teacher who loves honesty and teaches the same to his or her students is a great quality. Sometimes, situations occur when a student might forgot to bring the homework or a book or anything else he or she was asked to bring but rather than telling lies if the student tells the truth then the teacher forgives him or her and is happy with the student as he or she told the truth. This teaches a student to follow the path of honesty which makes the student a good human being and helps them a lot in their career and life in future. If a teacher is a very good person and teacher then he or she becomes a student’s best and favourite teacher.

Some teachers specially some history teachers makes the classes alive to draw the students attention towards the subject and to sustain it. Teachers also use various pictures and videos from internet about the subject in the class to make it easy for the students to understand what the teacher is teaching. They do not just read from a book but also uses references form outside the book to give them a proper picture about everything to make it easier for them. Another good quality of a teacher which makes them student’s favourite is that the students can ask any questions or queries they have regarding the subject to the teacher in the class or answer the questions asked in a class confidently even if they are wrong they never give up or feel embarrassed about it.
If students are taken to trips and a teacher gives them valuable knowledge about the place and shares his or her authentic and vast knowledge then the students get very surprised and impressed which is a great quality of a teacher and this might make him or her a favourite teacher of a student.
If I talk about my favourite teacher then there is a lot of things to say. I just don’t have one favourite teacher but many favourite teachers. My mom who is my first teacher in my life is my favourite teacher and she is actually my favourite teacher among all the favourite teachers that I have. She made studies so interesting and fun that I loved to study a lot. She taught me the basics so well that even today I can confidently and proudly say that my base is very strong.
Though she made studying easier for me still she was strict about studies. She did not used to leave me until and unless I studied properly and understood that I was being taught. She did used to give me some free time during studying as break. Even when I grew up she helped me in my studies and was my teacher and she still is. I don’t feel relaxed until and unless I can give proper answers to all the questions about the subject. She is the best teacher I can ever ask for. I have huge respect for her.
Then comes my first school teacher Mrs. Sangita Halder who was not only my but everyone’s favourite teacher. She made learning fun and was very friendly. We loved going to school and attend her classes. She never scolded anyone of us. During our school fest she helped us get changed and be confident on stage. She loved all of us. Even today, I have contact with her and she calls me sometimes to talk to me and my future and many other things. I love and respect her a lot.
In primary school also I had few favourite teachers and they are Mrs. Sarnita and Mrs. Suparna ma’am. They are very nice and amazing teachers. They were very helpful in nature. Because of Suparna ma’am my writing speed increased a lot. I have always loved the subject social science and Suparna ma’am made it more interesting. Once, before the exams my books and copies except for the one’s which were not required for studying for exams got stolen. I was very scared that time to even tell that to my class teacher Suparna ma’am but somehow did.
She asked everyone to check their bags if by mistake they took it but everyone said no. And then I saw her coming towards my row as I was sitting on the first bench I thought she’s coming to scold me but I saw her going to the last bench and taking out my copies and books from one of my classmate’s bags, bench, and even one which she was hiding under her sweater. I was so thankful towards her and I will always be. And, Sarnita ma’am made the subject Bengali easier for me. I never liked Bengali that much but I liked studying the subject because of her. Both the teachers helped me and supported me a lot.
In high school, Ishani ma’am, keka ma’am, Sunanda ma’am, Runa ma’am Deepali ma’am were my favourite. I was scared of Ishani ma’am at first but after few days I found her to be very supportive, helpful and loving teacher. She taught us so well and she thought all girls to be her own daughters. She even fought with the administration so that we get a spacious room. Keka ma’am made Maths easier for me.
Like she taught us maths like it’s nothing and Sunanda ma’am was a very supportive class teacher who supported all the students, helped them a lot. And was very friendly and had a good sense of humour. Runa ma’am, our geography teacher was the best. She never discriminated between the toppers and the weak students. She did exactly what should be done as a teacher. And Deepali ma’am our games teacher was everyone’s favourite. She used to be strict only while teaching us parade but other than that she was very friendly and gave us cute names as well. She was am excellent and loving teacher.
Teachers are very prestigious and important in our society. They make a student successful in their life and career. They have great knowledge and patience and teaches a student to follow on the right path and create a bright future. We all have our own favourite teacher whom we love and respect a lot but that doesn’t mean that we don’t respect other teacher. All teachers are very important to us and we respect all of them
