In this essay we are going to talk about the My Favourite Food. Food is the source of energy for our bodies. Food is like fertilizer to our body and it helps our body to build all the required elements to energize the body. Without food, our body can’t function properly and will be drained out easily.  We need food to get going in our lives otherwise we will not be able to have the energy to do any kind of work or any activity.

Also, we need to get the right plus healthy food items to be fit and healthy to go in the long run. Food is a basic necessity in our life. And everyone has their one favourite cuisine or any food item or snacks.

I am a big food lover. Although I love every food except only a few things. Food is my first love and I can’t ignore the food even if I am angry or upset. I love to have several kinds of food dishes. There is a long list of my Favourite foods. I can talk for several hours about my Favourite food without even stopping for a minute. I love to explore new food items or to taste new dishes anywhere in the world. My only biggest passion is to explore food joint restaurants or places where I can hop on some delicious yummiest food and satisfy my ever-hungry stomach.

We live in India where several different cultures or religious people reside. And of course, they all have some special kind of authentic food which is their speciality. Plus, rarely, any person who is from India and they are not a food lover. The love of food is directly inherited in them from childhood itself. And I am from India and no doubt a big food lover. I can’t survive without having some chatpata kind of food.

Food gives me a  different kind of satisfaction upon eating. I can’t imagine my life without food especially the chatpata and spicy kind of food items are my Favourites. My Favourite foods are not limited to only one food item. But it has a long list of food items. I love my Indian food. It has some strange kind of satisfaction which no other food can make feel the way it does.

I am a great fan of biryani. Ahh, biryani is like my first love. The rice and the masala always make me hungry. I am in love with the process of preparing it. Plus l love to have it on any day anytime. Biryani is the only dish which is loved by all and it is rarely seen that a person doesn’t like Biryani. I have extra love for Biryani as I am a big fan of rice. And anything which is prepared with rice is already my top favourite dish. I love to have rice any time of the day. And if it is biryani then I can eat it with a lot of love.

Due to the advancement of technology, we are so blessed that we can order food and get it on the doorstep. Also, we can have the food in the middle of the night or any time of the day. It is now so convenient for everybody to get there as soon as possible. Technology has made things extremely simple and convenient. And now everyone can enjoy any type of cuisine or any food they like to eat be it dessert, starter or ice cream or main course from any state or any cuisine. 

While everybody has their favourite food limited to one food item or some certain specific cuisine. But in my case, I don’t have some specifications for my favourite food. As I am a foodie and l can eat everything except a few exceptions such as karela, etc. I love to have noodles, fried rice or any Chinese food items or dishes. They were my biggest craving during my teen years. I was madly in love with Chinese when I was in school.  It was always like the biggest fascination to eat this food. I used to save my pocket money and get Chinese food. My family never allowed us to have Chinese food as they said that it is not healthy. But I used to eat Chinese to just satisfy my hunger and cravings.

And growing up I was then attracted to the most unhealthy food which is junk food. I used to crave samosa, vada pav, pizza, burgers, rolls, kebabs and whatnot. Although it is not healthy to eat, unhealthy food is the most attractive food item available out there.

Also, they come at a very cheap rate and any student can easily get their hand on these foods without worrying about money. That is why junk food is eaten by most students, especially teenagers.

I am so much involved in the food that I started enjoying cooking my favourite dishes on my own and eating them. I love to see different kinds of recipe videos on Youtube and try them in my kitchen and eat them instantly. And now in this social media world, one can find thousands of recipes from all over the world on Instagram conveniently. You are a click away from getting the bestest recipe videos. You can always try them whenever you want to. Plus with online shopping getting more convenient you can order the ingredients online and get them sorted for your recipe.

Conclusion

Food is the boosting energy to our body and we must have our favourite food. However, we should not consume the food in unlimited quantities or try some unhealthy food for every meal. We should always prefer the healthiest food over junk food or unnecessary food items. Having your favourite food is not bad but you should know when to stop with it and how much to intake for a particular meal or every meal. It will make you stay healthy and you can have more energy and activeness to do any work or activity.
