The emails trick the recipient and entice them to send something they want or need and link a website or download attachment. So what happens in spoofing is that the cyber criminal will send an email that will entice them to open and direct to a link. The fake website looks as real as it is with a proper domain name, branding logo and so on with contact details and it is difficult to identify if it’s a spoofed website. With this, the criminals steal login credentials, credit card information, install malware, and so on. The victim will receive a spoofed email with a spoofed website in the first place.

In this, the attacker restricts the user activity and extracts data from the computer. The attacker demands a ransom to restore the data. It is software that affects the security of computer software and This has become a trend these days and this cyber crime has been reportedly found in any part of the world.
5. Malware
It is software that is specially designed to disrupt or damage computers, servers, or computer networks. This is a contraction for malicious software. This is also used for exploiting and extracting the data and leverage over victims for financial gain. This is often a big threat for big companies where confidential data is extracted and threatened. These activities are becoming high in numbers day by day.
Technology is developed for advancement but not for exploitation. Seeing all these leaves us in a dilemma whether the technology is developed for good or bad. But yet, cyber crimes are severe issues and are constantly being reported and addressed.
